By booking AUCC Indoor Training Facility Centre you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Terms and Conditions of Bookings
- The hirer must ensure that he / she or his / her representative is present throughout the booking period.
- The hirer must only use the lane which has been booked by the user even if the other lanes are vacant
- The hirer must ensure the good conduct of all those participating in the booking, including spectators.
- The hirer must ensure all spectators watch from the kitchen, gear set-down area or behind the Lane 4 net area behind the bowlers run-up and not remain in the playing area.
- The hirer must ensure he / she and all users comply with any reasonable request from a staff member of Auckland University Cricket Club concerning the use of the premises and facilities.
- The hirer must ensure that he / she and all users leave the premises and facilities in a clean and tidy condition, and place all rubbish in the bins provided.
- Food and drink (except water) is strictly prohibited within the playing area (netted area) of the ITF.
- Studded / spiked footwear is not permitted to be worn in any part of the Cricket Centre.
- The hirer must immediately report any damage to the premises, facilities or equipment to Auckland University Cricket Club and accept responsibility for any damage caused during the period of hire by the group and will be liable for the costs of rectifying the damage.
- Balls are not provided with the bowling machine. Only approved Bola balls should be used. Do not use leather cricket balls. Any damages that occur due to the misuse of the user will be considered liable for replacement costs
- The hirer must ensure he / she and all users comply with Auckland University Cricket Club’s smoke-free policy. Smoking is not permitted.
- The hirer is responsible for their own health and safety and all those participating in the booking when using the facility, and agree to take all sensible precautions to protect their/their groups own health and safety whilst doing so
- Net bookings for any non-cricket code events/training must book all four lanes concurrently.
- Booking the entire facility is available only during off-peak times, and only for sports related activites.

- Access to the playing area is only via the retractable net at the ‘bowlers’ end’ of the playing area.
- Only in emergencies should participants exit or egress via the retractable nets in lanes 1 and 4 and/or using the zips in the nets.
- All spectators must view from outside the netted area. No spectators are allowed within the playing area.
- For an individual lane booking, a maximum of 8 participants are permitted withing the playing area (per booked lane).
- For an entire facility booking, a maximin of 50 participants are permitted within the playing area.
- All participants must comply with any reasonable request of the management and/or staff of AUCC concerning use of the ITF.
- Participants must comply with AUCC’s smoke-free policy. Smoking including vaping is not permitted within the ITF.
- Bookings for any non-cricket training must be for the entire facility.
- The retractable nets dividing the lanes are to remain at full length unless the hirer has booked the entire facility. Care should be taken when moving the retractable nets to ensure safe operation.
- The fixed nets to the perimeter of the playing area are not to be pulled, leant on, bounced on or pushed off.
- Participants should be aware of times for accessing Colin Maiden Park. Gates usually close at 10pm.
Privacy Policy
- By using the Auckland University Cricket Club online booking system, I am agreeing to receive:
- messages relating to my booking,
- messages relating to the administration of my data, e.g. requests to confirm my profile settings; and
- Pursuant to the Privacy Act the following has been brought to my attention. Auckland University Cricket Club uses the registration process to collect information for the purposes of:
- the general administration of the Auckland University Cricket Club, and
- the promotion of Auckland University Cricket Club's programmes.
- My personal information will be held by Auckland University Cricket Club and I have the right to access (and correct) such personal information as provided for in the Privacy Act.
- I may view and update this information by means of my profile settings in the online booking system and/or by contacting the Auckland University Cricket Club administrator.
- Use of the online booking system constitutes authorisation of the use and disclosure of the personal information in accordance with the purposes set out above. Stating that I withhold this consent, or the provision of incorrect information, may result in you being ineligible to use the system.
Payment, Pricing & GST, Jurisdiction
- All prices are in NZD. Prices are inclusive of GST for buyers within New Zealand.
- If paying online, payment is made via credit card to Auckland University Cricket Club. The name that will appear on your statement will be "AUCC".
- Auckland University Cricket Club is a NZ owned business entity for trading/registration purposes.
- If you cancel a booking more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled booking time, then you are entitled to a full refund.
- If you cancel a booking less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled booking time, then you will be refunded 50% of the hire fee.
- If you fail to show for a booking , there will be no refund.
Security of Your Credit Card Information
- All purchases made through this website have transactions securely handled by Stripe, ensuring the highest possible security for your credit card data. On payment you will be redirected or your data will be submitted to a site controlled by Stripe to make the transaction in a secure environment. When payment is complete you will be returned to this site with confirmation.
